Along the way, discover the real stories of the people, places, scandals, tragedies, and events that shaped Hollywood—and the ghost stories they left behind. April blends fascinating Hollywood history with local lore, strange eyewitness accounts, and even a few of her own experiences exploring these historic places. And because ghost stories and Hollywood scandals aren’t usually part of April’s presentations, this special event only comes around once a year!

I am a Hollywood historian and creator of the Old Hollywood Walking Tour, dedicated to preserving the stories and style of Classic Hollywood. My passion began with reading biographies of film stars and grew as I explored Hollywood’s rich history. I’ve appeared as a historian on PBS's Iconic America, consulted on Hollywood research projects, and led tours for corporate and non-profit clients. I also founded the Old Hollywood Back Room, offering events, presentations, and a community for classic Hollywood fans.
