About Professional Tour Guide
I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania, studying ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. I have worked on many topics, including frog-shaped stone vessels from the earliest periods of Egypt, the tombs of the Theban Necropolis, and Assyrian royal propaganda. I have also excavated in Egypt at the ancient town of Wah-Sut, a settlement for the workers of the temple of pharaoh Senwosret III.

Hatshepsut
Wonderful lecture on Hatshepsut, which I finally got to watch and may watch again before it expires. I listen to a lot of lectures on Egypt and was impressed by your knowledge and the way you communicated it. You have a great voice for this and I have been wanting to hear more about this fascinating woman. Thank you very much.

Jacob gave a very entertaining talk at our well-attended WVT presentation today. I’m looking forward to his future events and hope to visit the Penn Musseum for the special Egyptian exhibition planned next year

Knowledgeable and articulate presentation
Impressive style of the well structured presentation. I’ve learned quite a bit. I can only imagine how lucky Jacob’s students are to have such a knowledgeable and charismatic professor. He raised questions that inspired me to learn more about the pyramids of the ancient Egypt.
