Course Description
This course will have 4 45 minutes lectures dedicated to the 3 main geographic areas where the Normans created their seats of power: 1 – Normandy, 2 – England, 3 – Southern Italy. We will discover how this civilization rose up from being Viking raiders to one of the most important dynasties of the middle ages. Learning topics include politics, religion, art and social development.
Last session will be a round up with the legacy of the Norman worlds and queries put forward by the group.
