Nefertari was the great Royal Wife of Ramses II, the greatest, most powerful and celebrated pharaoh in the history of Ancient Egypt. Beloved by her pharaoh, who called her “The one for whom the sun shines“, she played an important role in international diplomacy during her husband’s reign.
Her tomb, discovered in the Valley of the Queens by the Italian Ernesto Schiaparelli, has returned to its former glory after a very long restoration operation. The articulated plan and the sublime decoration make it one of the most beautiful royal burials in Luxor, visited every year by thousands of tourists from all over the world.
In this exciting tour Khaled will accompany you to visit and understand it.
