The story of the missing room with hundreds of kilos of amber decorating it keeps boggling minds of historians and fans of conspiracy theories all over the world. Join this event on Catherine’s Palace to learn its history, see the splendor of its interiors, hear the stories of the Romanovs who lived there and, of course, to admire the Amber Room, which had been restored for us a couple of decades ago. We’ll get to the Amber Room itself and talk about how it got to Russia and how it disappeared in the stormy days of WWII and the Siege of Leningrad. We’ll discuss the theories and mysteries around its whereabouts. Please, note that the video for this tour is pre-recorded as I am far from my beloved city because of the war. These tours are for those who can differentiate between culture, history and politics.
