Located in the City of London, St Bartholomew`s Hospital and Priory was founded in 1123 by the monk Rahere and reestablished to the City of London by King Henry VIII. Our online talk will cover St Bartholomew’s Hospital, St Bartholomew’s the Great & Less. You will see an amazing range of architecture both medieval and modern, hear stories of body snatchers, pioneering physicians, and the registering of nurses. You see the newly conserved North Wing with its splendid Great Hall and spectacular paintings by William Hogarth. With Starring roles for Rahere, Dr Lopez, William Harvey , Maggie Jenks and many more!
