Description

The Paleo-Inuit cultures of Arctic Canada are renowned for having carved beautifully decorated tools and figurines from bone, ivory, and antler. One of the lesser-known artefact types from this ancient culture is commonly referred to as a spatula, due to its spatula-like shape. The most fascinating fact about these objects? Nobody knows what they were used for. Join us for a discussion of these intriguing objects, and a deep dive into the archaeology of the Paleo-Inuit.

We believe knowledge must be FREE, available to everyone. Just get your Free pass and ENJOY!
