I am a committed academic with a strong track record in both teaching and research. Over the last fifteen years, I have taught a broad range of classes related to Chinese and East Asian studies. Though a broad generalist, I have particularly sustained and extensive experience in teaching Classical Chinese and Premodern East Asia. I have given lectures and taught classes on a broad range of topics related to East and Southeast Asia to both academic and general audiences in a variety of venues in Asia, Europe and North America.
