Join Olga for this exciting tour to experience the heart of former West Berlin. On a stroll down Kurfurst endamm Olga will tell you exciting stories of the most famous avenue of West Berlin. What made it popular? Has it managed to keep its status after the reunification of Berlin? What’s there to see on this street? You’ll see Berlin’s shopping mall KaDeWe and find out what made it iconic. You’ll visit a symbol of West Berlin, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial church, called by the locals the Hollow Tooth. Badly damaged during the WW2 bombings, its remains were fortunate to be preserved during the after war reconstruction of West Berlin. The church got its second re-birth and was turned into the memorial and one of Berlin’s symbols well worth a visit. Olga will take you inside the church and share its fascinating history.
This is an exciting live tour of the must-see heart of West Berlin.
