Description

Join us for this exclusive live event! Yusuke will bring us to visit the impressive exhibition
Digital × Hokusai [The Climax] part2 A Genuine Painter – The Path to Creativity and Innovation” from NTT InterCommunication Center in Tokyo, Japan. The smartphone’s close-up video image lets you observe the fine details miraculously described in his works.
About the exhibit: Hokusai identified himself as a “painter” rather than an “artisan”, emphasizing the distinction between the two roles during the Edo period. The exhibition reflects Hokusai’s dedication to personal creativity and his independent artistic journey.
This exhibit highlights the four ceiling paintings, including “Masculine Waves” and “Feminine Waves“, created for festival carts in Obuse, as well as the decorations for these festival carts, which are said to be the only three-dimensional works he designed and supervised throughout his lifetime. Viewers are encouraged to engage with Hokusai’s artistic vision through high-resolution reproductions and 3D digital applications that capture the essence of his original works.
Don’t miss this incredible event that Yusuke will give us access to!
