Italy has lots of old ruins in the grass on the hills. Patrizia takes you out there and walks you around explaining what this foundation belonged to and when it was buillt and by whom and how long they were in charge there…after a while you begin to understand the past and how one group of people and then another ran the show. All of a sudden you figure out the Latin paragraphs you labouriously translated in high school were actually real words written by Julius Caesar…

Patrizia is a true gem! The breadth and depth of her knowledge is amazing. She retains a wealth of details about places and artists and shares them in an interesting, informal manner in wonderful English. She is by far my favorite guide with WVT and on other platforms!
