About Professional Tour Guide
Ciao! I'm Alba, a Roman archaeologist and licensed tour guide. Even though I'm Italian through and through, I've spent quite a bit of time living on the East Coast of the US and in England.
After snagging a BA in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and not one, but two MAs in Archaeology and History of Architecture, I went all out and got my Ph.D. in Archaeology back in 2015. But you know what? I quickly realized that I'm more into storytelling than hardcore research. So, I ditched the academic life and dove headfirst into guiding tours and educating folks in museums all across central Italy.
I'm all about uncovering the hidden gems of Rome and the surrounding areas in Lazio. Sure, the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain are cool, but there's so much more to see!

This tour (Piazza Navonne) is incredible. So many interesting facts. Alba speaks at a good speed and in very clear English, even though she is a genuine Italian. You can tell that she really loves her subject, and she loves to share it with interested people. I will keep looking for her tours – they are the best. Of course, I showed appreciation with a tip. And on a very hot day, I got to sit in my chair and drink water. The best of all worlds.

Her descriptions allow you to almost taste/smell/feel what you see. So many fascinating information. She lives in Rome and her love for the city clearly comes across. Cars, please watch out for her.
