In this virtual walking tour with Kelli, you’ll wander (via HD video) through a Chicago park that pays tribute to the Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, Dorothy, and Toto. Then, you’ll follow Chicago’s yellow brick road to the spot where author L. Frank Baum penned his children’s book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Finally, you’ll meander through a lovely cemetery in Bloomington, Illinois, for more Oz stories.

I am a tour guide, educator, and public speaker who brings film history to life for audiences of all backgrounds. As the founder of Chicago Movie Tours, I help visitors and locals discover Chicago through its rich cinematic history. Before launching my business, I spent over a decade as a professor of film and media studies. Now, I bring my expertise and passion for teaching beyond the traditional classroom and into real-world and virtual experiences like these. I hold a Ph.D. in Humanities, an M.A. in English, and a B.A. in English, with minors in history and French.
