This tour follows in the footsteps of biblical King Nebuchadnezzar II, whose reign marked the peak of the Neo-Babylonian Empire. We discover the engineering marvels of Babylon, including the legendary Hanging Gardens, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and trace the expansion of the empire, including the destruction of Jerusalem described in the Bible. Thereafter, we will see how the empire declined before falling victim to the empire-building goals of another ruler, King Cyrus II of Persia.
