I am a Hollywood historian and creator of the Old Hollywood Walking Tour, dedicated to preserving the stories and style of Classic Hollywood. My passion began with reading biographies of film stars and grew as I explored Hollywood’s rich history. I’ve appeared as a historian on PBS's Iconic America, consulted on Hollywood research projects, and led tours for corporate and non-profit clients. I also founded the Old Hollywood Back Room, offering events, presentations, and a community for classic Hollywood fans.

Excellent tour!

I was on Ms Clemmer’s tour in 2023. She is a true fan and expert of Hollywood history. Our tour (15 people) walked slowly down Hollywood Blvd where every nook and cranny tells a story! There was a “rest stop” halfway through our walk, so no worries about comfort. Highly recommend April’s tours!
