In this temple, built during the New Kingdom and dedicated to the Theban Triad (Amun, Mut, Khonsu), the annual Opet Festival was celebrated, in which the statues of the triad were carried in a sumptuous procession from the temple of Karnak, remained there for 24 days and then returned.
Let’s explore together this thousand-year-old temple, where history has remained carved in stone and decode with the help of Khaled the stories it still tells, in the suggestive atmosphere of the egyptian sunset!
