Let’s take a stroll through the charming narrow streets of the Old City in Tbilisi! Picture this city made up of these cute little lanes lined with wooden balconies hanging off old brick buildings. Walk through doorways that lead to secret courtyards, and check out those ancient vines casually climbing anything vertical they can find. Now, in some spots, they’ve gone all out with renovations, almost like they’re setting up a movie scene or something. But don’t worry, plenty of these twisty alleys are still keeping it real, with their cracked and crumbly vibes that just add to the whole genuine and picturesque feel. This time, we’ll see how the architecture of the city changed with time, especially in the 19th century. We’ll see more European architecture of different styles, such as classicism, and art nouveau. Those changes were closely connected with the historic context.
