Matilda is full of historical information and has slides for the visuals. She speaks clearly and is easy to listen to. I highly recommend that you check out the list of tours Matilda offers.

Very interesting, on point lecture. Matilda is quite knowledgable about her subject, not afraid to say, “I don’t know,” and extremely personable!

Saint Jean de Luz tour was my first with Patrick, and I was very impressed and happy. Even though it was raining and stormy at the location he was a good sport, and lead us around while juggling umbrella and equipment and providing an informed commentary. Basque country was new to me, and he demystified the language, food, and culture for us. Excellent guide!

I always look forward to Patrick’s tours, of which I’ve done many. He combines depth of knowledge with a real sense of fun, and he whisks me away to interesting places – highly recommended

The Beverly Hills Hotel & Classic Hollywood Tour with Appril Clemmer was absolutely fantastic! Appril has such a gift for bringing Hollywood’s golden age to life. From the glamorous legends who walked the halls of the Beverly Hills Hotel to the behind-the-scenes stories of classic Hollywood, every stop was filled with fascinating details and insider knowledge you simply won’t find in a guidebook.

Her storytelling is engaging, fun, and sprinkled with those “wow, I never knew that!” moments. What I especially appreciated is how she connected the history to the people and culture of the time, making it feel alive and relevant today. You can tell she’s deeply passionate about sharing these stories, and it makes the experience both educational and highly entertaining.

If you love Old Hollywood, history, or just want to experience Beverly Hills through a new lens, I can’t recommend this tour enough. Appril truly makes you feel like you’re stepping back into Hollywood’s golden era.

I never miss one of Fredo’s tours. I didn’t think it would be possible to cover the Museum of Anthropology in one hour but Fredo presented all the highlights. His tours are great for seasoned visitors of Mexico and anyone who has it on their list. He’s very personable, always well organized and presents interesting information every place he takes us. So happy I discovered WVT this year.

This tour (Piazza Navonne) is incredible. So many interesting facts. Alba speaks at a good speed and in very clear English, even though she is a genuine Italian. You can tell that she really loves her subject, and she loves to share it with interested people. I will keep looking for her tours – they are the best. Of course, I showed appreciation with a tip. And on a very hot day, I got to sit in my chair and drink water. The best of all worlds.

Patrick has a wealth of information and interesting tidbits about Paris, and he explains it all in a way that is not only informative, but also so you can remember much of it.  He has a real talent.  

This was my first time with Martine as a guide, but it will not be my last. Very informative. I really appreciated that she spoke clearly and slowly so that I could process what she was saying. I was at the Parthenon in June 2017, and did not learn half of what she presented. It was so hot that I suppose I probably would have fainted at that length. Definitely worth the hour today.

Olga is a true gem as a guide. Her knowledge & experience are absolutely above & beings exorcism as she takes you away on interesting & exciting tours!

I have been on many of Yusuke’s tours. So relaxing looking closely at blossoms of every type through the seasons

Fredo speaks loud and clearly. He states the names, history, and traditions of what he is showing. He’s a very informative Guide.

Wonderful lecture on Hatshepsut, which I finally got to watch and may watch again before it expires. I listen to a lot of lectures on Egypt and was impressed by your knowledge and the way you communicated it. You have a great voice for this and I have been wanting to hear more about this fascinating woman. Thank you very much.

I have joined several WVT with her and she is a wealth of information which she presents clearly and enhances with documentation and pictures always leaving me wanting to sign up for the next one. Love archeology and please have her do more of that. I want to see everywhere she talks about in her beloved country of Peru, so much so I plan to go in August and hope to meet her in Lima!!!

Her descriptions allow you to almost taste/smell/feel what you see. So many fascinating information. She lives in Rome and her love for the city clearly comes across. Cars, please watch out for her. I had never heard of this district – so many architectural and historical details. Fascinating beyond description. So personable. Time for questions at the end. Would sign up for another walking tour again.
