Outstanding!
Really enjoyed “Elvis in Hollywood” – many wonderful clips, with interesting background information. Very well presented. Looking forward to more film history lectures in the future.
Always enjoyable
Lively, so interesting, wonderful stories. This tour of the Bas Marais was excellent. Learning so much more than when I was in Paris in person!
Excellent historical review
Omid is knowledgeable, well-prepared, and shows interesting visual aids that make history come to life. Very well done.
INCREDIBLE PRESENTATION !
WOW ! Erica’s Presentation: BABYLONIAN NIGHT SKY: As They Saw It was, in one word: INCREDIBLE ! Her intimate knowledge and outstanding verbal presentation skills combined with incredible visuals was SPELLBINDING and CAPTIVATING; even for a mere armchair astronomer.
Babylonian archers….who knew??
Erica’s tour on the Babylonian night sky (as they saw it then) was fascinating. First of all, (sidebar) she has a marvelous voice and her diction is beautiful. The tour was captivating. The tidbit about the archers and the Seven Sisters particularly stuck with me, although it was all first rate information. I’m still mulling it over 🙂
Excellent tour
Very well presented and interesting tour, I very much enjoyed it
Informative and fun
Just watched the fantastic Marianne North lecture Kathie gave. Wonderful slides and information presented with an obvious enthusiasm for this incredible Victorian world exploring botanical artist. I can’t wait to find the artist’s book.
Interesting, enjoyable and very professionally delivered
It was a lovely surprise to see Stefany returning to virtual touring with World Virtual Tours. There were understandably a few technical issues to sort out at the beginning, but her debut tour was an absolute triumph – interesting, enjoyable and very professionally delivered.
With Christmas on the way, the people of Quito celebrated in style, offering music and dancing as Stefany made her way through the city, telling us about the history of Quito, the people for whom the city was named, and the man who played such an important role when Ecuador became independent.
Stefany also mentioned the geography of Quito, including its latitude, its weather and its potentially dangerous position, considering what surrounds the city. Food is also very important and it was very interesting to see some of the different sweets on display. They look delicious and if the names of the sweets aren’t always appetising in the traditional sense, they are certainly very amusing.
There is a lot of architecture to admire, dating from throughout the centuries. The houses are very elegant and the hotel and palace are truly splendid – though they can’t compete with the magnificent church which ended the tour. It’s important both as part of the history of Quito and Stefany’s own personal history and it really is beautiful.
Stefany’s tour of Quito was excellent and for anyone who enjoyed her Hummingbird tours on Heygo, Stefany will be repeating that tour on World Virtual Tours very soon.
GREAT Passion !
We REALLY enjoyed Stefany’s inaugural Presentation. Her Passion was obvious and SO delightful !
Concise and Thorough WVT with Jacob
Excellent discussion. Great clarity on the history of pyramids, especially Egyptian pre-pyramid history and photos. Thank you Jacob

Olga B., A Energetic and Knowledgeable Guide
I love tours with Olga–she has enough energy to carry slow me right along with her and we get somewhere. I have gotten to see quite a bit of Berlin and Krakow in all kinds of weather. Olga is full of information and history and does quiz questions. Olga also has a passion for Odessa, her home town, and she is helping keep a hopeful candle lit for the city while she waits to go home.
Vanessa is an Excellent Guide
Several times recently I have gone on tours with Vanessa. She is very thorough and clear in her speaking. I have learned more about Peru in her few tours than I ever learned in school or from friends who lived in that area for many years. Peru has become a place I want to read about and learn the history of in order to better understand the incorrect teaching on the history of indigenous people in North America. Thank you Vanessa for your excellent tours.
A Great Storyteller !
I Love Alba’s ability to weave captivating stories around her Tours. Absolutely Captivating and Enjoyable. Thankyou, Alaba !
Patrick is great!
I’ve followed Patrick’s tours for several years now and have thoroughly enjoyed every one. He is friendly, interesting, knowledgeable, natural and fun. I am so upset if I realise I have missed a tour by Patrick and thanks to learning from him I now know a lot about Paris. He talks about the history and culture and knows all of the interesting places to see. Merci PAtrick
Patrizia, Excellent Guide
I really enjoyed the few tours I got to see with Patizia. She has very good camera skills and makes us feel as if we are there. Patrizia has a knack for showing what is inside the shop through the window–especially the bake shops. I love to cook and bake and EAT yummy things so I like to see food on these tours. Patrizia also told interesting things like why there were little doors along the outer walls of the houses that were not doors for living people… Patrizia is a very sofortable person and has a pleasant voice and speaking style. She is an all around excellent tour guide.
Jimmy in Inca Land
I love to go on Jimmy’s tours–for one thing they are almost in my time zone, but mainly it is because Jimmy is so friendly–he calls us family. And he tries to keep us together as we go through the market or out in the ruins on the mountain. He is good at telling us about the local customs and how their market works. Some of my grandkids come to listen when Jimmy is on; one got to go to Machu Picchu with her Girl Guides group so we have the little alpacas they sell to the tourist…Jimmy brings it all to life for me.
Amazing ride!!!
Anna’s knowledge of her own country helps her to provide such a wonderful description of some of the historical events and places of such!!!
A Review for Ramzi Alsadi
I have enjoyed Ramzi’s tours of Bethlehem on more than one occasion. I like stopping in little shops and talking with the owner. I like driving in the traffic there. He also tours Jerusalem, Petra, the Jordan River, all with the benefits of having lived in that area. Ramzi is a gentle person and explains things clearly. His English is excellent.
I’ve LOVED Patrick since Heygo days
Patrick is so knowledgeable, so interesting (and so handsome!). 🙂 I’ve always enjoyed any tour he has given and that I have been on.
Petra / Jordan
Excellent guide. Good mix of up-to-date info with historical background of archeological sites. Good overview for planning a trip.
Patrick in Paris
Patrick takes you everywhere–one of my favourite tours was in a cemetery! I like how Patrick mixes in history with the present. Patrick does not let a little rain mess things up. We just plow through it. I like Patrick’s sense of humour and his inclusiveness.
Hollywood Ghost storys
What a great talk Loved her presentation It was my first tour/talk with April Hope to see her soon again Thanks again April Greetings from the Netherlands Nathalie
Always enjoyable
Taken at least 4 Paris walking tours so far and every one has been enjoyable. Patrick is very knowledgeable and obviously enjoys sharing his city with visitors. Looking forward to future tours!
Lilian, Passionate nd Professional
Lillian is a guide who cares about her subject and loves to to share her knowledge so others can be as interested and inspired as she is. Lillian’s English and diction are excellent. She is organized and and can use but the lecture method and the go outside anad walk from place to place and see and touch the actual place being talked about. Lillian’s are lecturres or introductions are very helpful for we who are not at all aware of most art and have no idea how art is done and what it means or can mean if we understand the methods and story behind it. Lillian’s book suggestions are helpful and her willingness to share how history has affected her personally helps me look at the history I have lived through and try to figure out how history affects me.
Wonderful lesson from my couch
Vanessa was such a knowledgable and friendly guide! Vanessa talked about Pachacamac, a(n Incan) God, and I would never known about the Conquistadors impact on this community without her knowledge. Thank you for sharing your history and culture – I didn’t even have to leave my couch, but that doesn’t mean I’m not motivated to come to Peru some day!
Patrizia Makes the Ruins Live
Italy has lots of old ruins in the grass on the hills. Patrizia takes you out there and walks you around explaining what this foundation belonged to and when it was buillt and by whom and how long they were in charge there…after a while you begin to understand the past and how one group of people and then another ran the show. All of a sudden you figure out the Latin paragraphs you labouriously translated in high school were actually real words written by Julius Caesar…
Tour/talk about the Amber room
Anna is a wonderful, caring guide! This tour/talk about the Amber room was veriy interesting So much history and I always learning so much when I do a tour with her! She deserves so much more people who are getting hooked like I did a few years back! ( Sorry can I give her more then 5 STARS 🙂 )
Wonderful Anna!
Just discovered Anna and I’ll be back for more!
Best guide in Paris
Been following Patrick since Heygo days and he never fails to amaze me with his jovial style and knowledge of France.
