We’ll start our visit with what was once a magnificent church under Louis XIV and which will finally be the place where we will put the tomb of Napoleon 1st. We will discover this church and the crypt of the tomb, as well as all the other important figures in french history. We’ll then take a look at the church from the outside to admire its beauty, and we’ll explore the rest of the site, including the former residence built by Louis XIV for war invalids (hence the name of the building) and veterans.

My name is Patrick. I am Parisian, although I come from a family from Britanny (from the Côtes d’Armor). I have been passionate about my city for several years and I love to help people discover it.
