We often confuse these two styles, and rightly so because partly they juxtapose. Art Nouveau predates Art Deco and is almost its opposite, it is very well represented in Paris with Hector Guimard.
During this visit we will discuss the 2 styles, we will talk about painting, furniture, decoration, lighting, but as our visit is in the street we will focus on civil and urban architecture. We will also take this opportunity to take a look at the styles that will precede and follow art deco.
We will be able to see two major works: the Castel Beranger and the Metro stations, so known in Paris, … created by Hector Guimard and I will devour all the secrets.
